One panel over two external services

The platform does not own its own video or its own paywall. The video lives in Kaltura and the subscriptions and access rules live in InPlayer, each with its own back office, its own model of the world and its own API.

H&C Streaming Manager puts both behind a single interface. The team schedules and publishes from one place, and the panel is what keeps the two sides pointing at the same thing: a title in the catalogue, the asset that plays it, and the rule that decides who is allowed to watch.

Why it is worth having

Without it, running the platform means holding two systems in your head at once and doing the joining by hand, in two browser tabs, every time something is published or a rule changes. That is where the mistakes are: an episode live with the wrong access rule, or a rule with nothing behind it.
