Tutorial MySQL
Tutorial MySQL is the most complete MySQL tutorial in Spanish: 420 articles in 49 sections, from a first SELECT to backups, logs and storage engines. Next to the reading material it ships two tools that run entirely in your browser, a SQL playground and an AI assistant, with no account and no server behind them.
What it covers
Every article is a full lesson, not a reference stub: an introduction, the syntax, examples that grow from simple to real, the usual mistakes and when to use it. The examples run against a realistic shop database instead of foo and bar.
| Area | What it includes |
|---|---|
| SQL fundamentals | Queries, filters, grouping, joins, set operations, subqueries, data manipulation |
| Data structure | Databases, tables, constraints, data types, character sets, indexes |
| Advanced | Query optimization, full-text search, views, stored procedures, error handling, triggers, transactions, scheduled events |
| Functions | String, numeric, date, aggregate, window, control flow, regular expressions, encryption, information |
| Administration | Server, users and roles, storage engines, maintenance, backup and restore, logs |
| Programming | MySQL from Node.js, Python, PHP, Perl and Java |
| Errors | One page per MySQL error code, with its causes and the fix step by step |
The Playground
You can write SQL and run it on the spot, without installing anything. The engine is SQLite compiled to WebAssembly, loaded in the page. It starts with a sample shop database, and you can also load your own .sql dump: the MySQL-specific parts of the dump (engine options, charsets, comments, lock statements) are stripped so it imports cleanly. A side panel shows every table with its columns, types and primary keys.
SQL AI
A SQL assistant that runs on your own machine. The models are open weights executed with WebGPU through WebLLM: Llama 3.2 in 1B and 3B for lighter devices, and Qwen2.5-Coder 7B when there is memory to spare. The model downloads once and stays cached in the browser.
- The assistant receives the schema of the loaded database, so it writes queries against your real tables and columns.
- Every SQL block it answers with can be executed in place against that same database.
- Nothing leaves the browser: no API key, no cost per question, and your data never reaches a server.
Built to be found
A tutorial is only useful if people land on it. Every article is prerendered as static HTML, carries structured data (article, breadcrumbs and a course for the whole tutorial) and gets its own social image. Page titles are tuned against Search Console data, written for what people actually search rather than for the name of the command. The errors section follows the same logic: people paste error messages into a search engine, so each code gets its own answer.
Stack
Next.js with static generation, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and MDX for the content. The Playground uses sql.js and SQL AI uses WebLLM. Hosted on Vercel.
