This is my personal website and the site you are watching, created with Laravel and static Markdown files. It all started with this tutorial I made when I was on holiday. I created to show how to use Markdown with Laravel, and after some struggling about the site design I ended up with this website.

To be honest I never wanted to have a website for myself, but it was a good chance to design again a website with a dark colour scheme.

Valor Web is another website worth calculator. This project has been a big issue since it was realsed, as most of the APIs the project was connecting to were closed. Even Alexa closed in 2022. I can still say the calculator is sometimes accurate, specially when the traffic volume is big enough. The project is completely automanaged.

A Framework to create MVC plugins for WordPress, featuring an improved router, a complete ORM, services, service providers, an asset manager and much more things. I researched on many frameworks in order to build SCIWP, taking the best bits of ZF3, Laravel and Symfony.

You can bundle it with your plugins or you can use it as a standalone plugins. It's integrated with GitHub for easy updates.

Started Neoguias in 2015 as an improvement of my old personal tech blog. By the time I didn't realize the full potential of the website. After six redesigns and more than a thousand articlies, tutorials, demonstration projects and walkthroughs, millions of users access Neoguias now each month.

It all started when my ex boss told me how I could increase website visits in a meeting with 10 more people. I said what I'd do. She told me I would probably write shitty articles and that my social habilities were very poor. So worked 4 extra hours after work on Neoguias and demonstrated I was right.

As usually, it all started with someone saying it was not possible to do something or that I would not be able to do it. BMC Hosting was my first profitable business, providing hosting and maintenance services, and offering both shared hosting accounts and dedicated managed servers.

Because of my lack of time and the time required to manage the business I had to chose between focusing 100% on this busines or continue my career as a developer. I chose the last option. I can't say I regret it, as I love development work.
